Flyby Technology was set up by former RAF fighter pilot and flying instructor Jon Parker with one aim in mind … to be the best drone training company in the UK.

Jon, a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, has been involved in the pioneering ways drones have been used by the military and has taken that ethos of world class training and innovation into civilian life.

He is working closely with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on how drones will be used in the future – ways that people can’t imagine now – so Flyby is at the very forefront of the next generation of drone pilots.
Flyby has an elite team of instructors and all are either ex-fighter pilots, combat helicopter pilots or former CAA instructors.

All are great communicators and a vital part of the Flyby training is that once the students qualify they will be able to call on their instructors at any time if they need advice on anything at all.

Flyby Technology is now seen as the company the media goes to for expert comments on anything to do with drones and in the aftermath of drones causing chaos at Gatwick Airport just before Christmas 2018 Flyby instructors were featured in interviews in international, national and regional media.

Flyby has training courses nationwide and is constantly pushing the boundaries of drone aviation and setting new standards for drone qualifications.
